Currently busy with the preparations for dizzy; spamming flyers and announcements everywhere, telling all our friends, inviting certain people, finding turntables, ect
And of course we are writing arrangements and charts like crazy and rehearse as much as possible, which is actually hard to organize due to the amount of people involved (7+).
The only thing that is sure: drum n bass, in your face!

Two more hidden pictures that surfaced mysteriously:

Experimenting with drum n bass played live on stage in the fair city of Rotterdam…
After our first musical steps at the fullmoon party last week we are now busy with rehearsals to further increase our repertoire.

The band/ feature concept is working out really good, but we definetely need more songs for the core-band. Well, since we just got started I am happily looking forward to the future!

Furthermore, we have a new gig-option for jazzcafe Dizzy, will keep you updated on that!

I grew up in the cuban countryside as a child of a german mother and a cuban father and dreamed of becoming an operasinger.
When i was 9 years old my mother decided to take me to her hometown- Berlin- just before the wall came down.

Here I experienced social changes and different scenes, an atmosphere of artistic freedom and creativity. This city, though it is so different from the latin way of celebrating life in all its aspects, also enchanted me with ist rough and crazy charme.
This was the playground for me to discover Rock, Musical, Funk, Soul and Dub. Later on I followed the call for Latin, Jazz and Improvisation.

I attempted to study cultural science at University but I surrendered to music and to its ways of expressing emotions and touch the hearts of people.

In 2007 I began my studies of Jazz and Pop Singing in the ArtEz-Conservatory in Holland. Since then I specialized in Latinmusic, Jazz and Experimental stuff with loopstation and with other musicians.

This summer 09 I changed to the Rotterdam WorldMusic Department of Codarts where I’m studying Latinjazz.

Mozart Never Did This is a modern international collective of musicians from all over the world, based in Rotterdam. We unite influences from Jazz, Pop, Dub, Dancehall, Drum n Bass and Electronic Music and create a new global sound. With our music we want to celebrate life and propagate fun, creating an ambience where our audience can forget their worries and go wild. Modern Party Music.

Our very own website is online as of today, content is being added as often as possible. Be sure to re-check our site in the coming weeks as I iron out the tweaks and glitches…
I would like to encourage everyone who is thinking of setting up a site to consider Wordpress, a free content-management-system for blogs. With a little thought it was possible to build this site alone using Wordpress, all that was needed was a web-space that supported the requirements, which I already had.
